Coronavirus disease 2019 or as we known COVID-19 is the new infection diesease thtat cause by new type of coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. This virus infection can affect upper respiratory tracy (sinuses, nose, and throat) or lower respiratory tract (windpipe and lung). it spreads through droplets release into the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. the droplets generally do not travel more than a few feet, and they fall to the ground (or onto surface), this is why physical distancing is effective in preventing the spread.
Signs and symptoms of Covid-19 may appear two to 14 days after exposure. This time after exposure and before having symptoms ic called the incubation period. Common sign and symptoms of Covid-19 in fever, cough, tiredness. Other symptoms can include shortness of breath or diffuculty breathing, muscle aches, chills, sore throat, headache, chect pain, runny nose. The severity of Covid-19 can range from very mild to severe. Some people may have only a few symptoms, and some people may have no symptoms at all. Some people may experience woesened symptoms such as worsened shorness of breath and pneumonia. Poeple who are older have a hinger risk of serious illness from Covid-19, and the risk increases with age. People who have comorbid such as chronic mecical condition (hypertension, heart failure, diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease and etc) may have a hinger risk of serious illness.
